To this game, which is the 1st leg of the Semifinal for the Portuguese Cup, we should understand that is the Season game for both teams, if they pass, they have 95% of chance to get European Competition next season,
which means loads of money to small clubs as these, therefore, is expected to see them deliver themselves to the game as it was the last.

Guimarães is a team very well managed by Rui Vitoria, even with all the money problems of the club, Rui Vitoria has managed his team with 5-6 players of the B team and he took them into a comfortable position on the league.

Unfortunately,  Vitor Bastos , Kaka and Rafa resigned yesterday, due miss of payments, which means that there are many players that are not receiving salaries.

About the game, Guimarães can´t count with the LB Addy  and Kanu RB on the defense, Soudani their best player will also miss his position on the attack due National duties, which will open a place for Marco Matias.
Marco Matias that played on B team last week against Tondela and had a disappointing perform.

On other hand, Belenenses is on a very stable moment and very close of guarantee their way up to the first league, they just need a victory on the weekend to get it.

This team despite being on the 2nd , they play an awesome football and on last 10 games they´ve discovered on the bench a "tree" called Tiago Caeiro, which no matter how the ball is crossed, that guy get it with the head. Freekicks and Corners will be very important situations on this game.

An attack with Desmarets and Fredy on the wings, having Arsenio on the bench it is a luxury for any team until the top4 of 1st league.

The team from Belém has all the board available to this game and Vand Der Gaag called them all, to create a even stronger team spirit.
At home this team are not used to take goals, neither losses , to see a defeat at home we´ve to go back to March 2012.

Concluding, even with a league difference and all the luck that Guimarães is used to have this year, special on the cup, we see all the value on Belenenses.
They are very strong at home, they play good soccer, they have  a group very cohesive  and if they do not tremble due the importance of the game, I think they can get a win today
