Today we´ve another Final!

This time is the Portuguese Cup Final, Benfica vs Guimarães.

Vitória de Guimarães made a splendid season...

Rui Vitoria ( Guimaraçes Coach ) made a great job this year, facing problems like motivate players that weren´t receiving their salary, seeing others resigning due that fact. He built a competitive team and when 3 or 4 players from the usual lineup had to go for their National teams in January, everyone thought the team would ruin but the coach found some other solutions on Bs and they made it very well.

He has found valuable players on Bs, one already sold to Porto and some others will have a similar future on next weeks.

On the cup they had a hard way until the final, they eliminated Maritimo, Setubal, Belenenses and their rivals Braga. 

For this game is expected that Rui Vitoria plan this game as he did on the Semi Final against Belenenses away from home, trying to not give spaces on the defense and send quick long balls to Soudani and Baldé, which gave results.
Even knowing that we can´t compare Benfica to Belenenses, it´s the best strategy to face a team balanced in the attack as Benfica.

On other side is Benfica, a team that had 2 delusions in 2 weeks, first they lost the Europa League and then they saw Porto be the champion on Primeira Liga....both crucial games were lost after minute 90, which was tremendously unlucky!

For this game Garay CB and Gaitan AM are recovered and only Andre Almeida is doubtful for the game. 

The games between these two teams for the Championship this season resulted in two victories for Benfica, 3-0 and 0-4.

Jorge Jesus aim this trophy for his CV, we shouldn´t expect any kind of rotation for this Cup game, do not exist margin for an error in this game and he knows it, so , is expected to see the best start XI.

I expect a game where Benfica will press hard since the first minute, and scoring early on the game, the game have it all to be open... Benfica won´t sit back against Guimarães!

This is a game to win and even with the sadness of losing two competitions, where they had it all to win, I believe that players have their morale recovered for this Final!

Guimarães is a team that never give up. Tomorrow they will have 10k supporters to give them an extra boost and I believe they will score at least one goal in a game that I expect to see Benfica doing their job and win the game by more than 1 goal.

If we chose a correct score to this game, 3-1 or 4-2 would fit well in a game that have all the ingredients to be a great show.
